Job Summary
The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering product initiatives while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the expected quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Coordination
- Assist the Product Manager in defining product scope, goals, and deliverables across LMS, LOS, and collections modules.
- Develop detailed execution plans including timelines, sprint planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Design, QA, Data, and Business teams to ensure timely delivery of product requirements.
2. Product Development Support
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to gather and document product requirements from lenders, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in creating and maintaining product roadmaps, sprint backlogs, and feature documentation.
- Support prioritization of platform enhancements, automation workflows, and integrations based on business value and client impact.
3. Execution and Monitoring
- Track product development progress across LMS workflows, LOS integrations, and debt resolution pipelines.
- Monitor feature performance and operational metrics to ensure successful delivery of roadmap goals.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and delivery issues and proactively escalate when required.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams, fintech clients, partner agencies, and senior management.
- Translate business requirements into structured product plans.
- Prepare product updates, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
5. Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain product documentation including PRDs, workflows, release notes, and operational guidelines.
- Ensure platform features align with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Support audit readiness through proper documentation.
6. Product Launch and Post-Launch Support
- Assist in coordinating feature launches and integrations.
- Monitor post-launch performance using analytics and customer feedback.
- Identify opportunities to improve adoption and workflow efficiency.
7. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance workflow automation, product scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Recommend improvements based on user feedback and market trends.
- Stay updated on fintech, lending, and SaaS product management best practices.
8. Vendor Management
- Support coordination with external vendors and partners for integrations and services.
- Align vendor capabilities with platform requirements and pricing considerations.
- Monitor partner performance and support vendor onboarding processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, or fintech platform roles.
- Exposure to lending platforms, LMS, LOS, collections systems, or workflow automation products is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Experience with Jira, product analytics platforms, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as Agile, Scrum, CAPM, PMP, or PRINCE2 are an added advantage.
